VisualizeBiology

About VisualizeBiology: a biology lab in your browser

Free, interactive simulators and 3D models for the biology that high-school students learn, from the cell to the ecosystem. Built by the team behind MechSimulator.

01

Why it exists

Biology is full of processes that are hard to picture from a textbook diagram: a cell dividing, an enzyme slowing as substrate runs out, a population changing over generations. VisualizeBiology turns those processes into simulations you can control, so you can change one variable and see the result.

The site is free and needs no account. It is kept free by the ads shown on its pages, and every simulator runs entirely in your browser.

02

Who builds it

VisualizeBiology is built by Naseel Ibnu Azeez, an engineering instructor and the creator of MechSimulator, a free library of more than 150 engineering and science simulators used by students in over 180 countries.

The biology content follows standard secondary-school curricula and open textbooks such as OpenStax Biology. Each simulator cites the source it is built on.

03

How every page is checked

Each tool starts from a textbook model and is validated numerically against worked examples before it goes live. Every page shows when it was last reviewed. If you find a mistake, email hello@visualizebiology.com and it will be corrected.

VisualizeBiology is an educational resource. Nothing on it is medical advice.
